Split a PDF
Cut a PDF into smaller files: mark where each part ends, split every page into its own PDF, or type the page ranges you need. Your document stays on your device.
How to split a PDF
- Drop your PDF on the box above, or click it to choose it.
- Tap ✂ between two pages to cut there, or click Every page. To extract pages instead, type the ranges, like 1-3, 5.
- Click Split and save each part, or all of them in one ZIP file.
Questions
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The pages are read and the new PDF is made inside your browser, on your own computer or phone. Your document is never sent to a server, so nobody else can see it.
Is there a limit on size or pages?
No daily limit, no sign-up and no page limit. The only limit is your device's memory, so a very large PDF simply takes a little longer.
How do I extract some pages into a new PDF?
Pick Page ranges and type the pages you need, like 2-4 or 7. Each range becomes its own PDF. To get one PDF without some pages, use Remove pages instead.
What about a PDF with a password?
A PDF locked with a password, or protected against changes, can't be edited here. Open it in a PDF reader, print it to a new PDF, and use that copy.
